Mario RighiMario RighiMario Righi was born in Perugia, Italy, in 1965. He received the degree (summa cum laude) in electronics engineering from the University of Ancona, Ancona, Italy, in 1991.
In June 1993 he was awarded the IEEE Graduate Student Fellowship Award from the MTT Society.
He successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis in December 1995, and received an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship in Electrical Engineering, at the University of Victoria, Victoria B.C., Canada.
Since Jan. 1997 he is a Research Engineer in the Computational Electromagnetics Research Laboratory at the University of Victoria and, effective July 1, 1997, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the ECE Department.
He is also Head of Corporate Research and Development of Faustus Scientific Corporation. His work is mainly in the area of analytical and numerical modeling of electromagnetic fields and waves.
